Engagement sessions are included in my most popular packages and are vital to the full experience. During Engagement sessions we get to truly know each other and get you comfortable infant of my lens. I also do give small tips in regards to posing that will help you naturally look your best on your wedding day- this ensures that I”m not budging in during emotional moments making you change your posture! My love is capturing candid documentary style shots, having these tips just smoothes things out!

Bridal sessions, in my opinion, is one of the biggest time saver for your wedding day. Getting your makeup and hair done on an earlier date allows you to test your look + makeup/hair vendor and see it all together in the true setting. We then get to take ALL the time and get you the most stunning bridal portrait and detail shots with no timeline rush or worries about looking your best for the ceremony. This means that on your wedding day, we just document a few shots of you, but, spend more time on couple portraits and you get to spend time with your guest that mean the world to you.

I am extremely well versed in both; my photography journey started with black and white film photography and mastering the light qualities that nature gives us. Thereafter I delved deep into the off-camera-flash world and honed in on that skill. I can confidently get you stunning print worthy shots in any situation. If you have a situation where one or the other is not an option, I will have you covered.

If you prioritize your couple shots, I’d advise starting 45min before sunset to get the beautiful transition of lighting throughout that session.

I love the practical element of doing a first look; it allows us to get the bridal party shots before hand and keep the rest of your day more breathable and relaxed. Capturing your first reactions in a controlled intimate environment make for stunning photos, but even greater, stunning memories. Seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony is also always stunning, but if you’re wanting a less stressed ceremony and prioritize spending time with your guests, a first look is perfect for you.

As a golden rule, I AWLAYS have a second photographer with me grabbing another perspective; during family portraits they will have a printed out list with all the groupings you requested and will help get everyone organized. When things start moving they will move on the capturing your guests enjoy the relaxed cocktail hour details. I will always send out a questionaire asking for all the group shots you want and will communicate it with you coordinator.
